ACUPUNCTURE has been practiced for thousands of years, placing it among the oldest healing practices in the world. It is based on the concept that disease results from the disruption of chi - vital energy and imbalances of yin and yang.
Acupuncture stimulates specific points on the body by a variety of techniques, including the insertion of sterile hair-thin metal needles through the skin. This removes blockages in the chi, restores balance, and enhances immunity in order to maintain health.
According to World Health Organization (WHO) acupuncture is effective in treating a wide variety of conditions including:
Abdominal pain Earache Neck pain Allergies/Sinus Female Infertility Obesity Arthritis (Osteo & RA) Headache Post-operative pain Asthma Incontinence Raynaud syndrome Cancer Pain Insomnia Sciatica Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Irritable Bowel Syndrome Sore Throat Chronic Fatigue Knee pain Sprain Colitis Low back pain Stress Common Cold Menopause Stroke Constipation Menstrual irregularities Tennis Elbow Depression Migraine Tooth pain Diarrhea Morning sickness Tonsillitis Dizziness Nausea and vomiting Urinary Tract infections
Acupuncture is an effect safe, non-invasive, drug free form of medical treatment.
